CLA Issues Comment on EPA Settlement Agreement Surrounding Law Suit Claiming EPA Must Ensure Chesapeake Bay Agreement Goals Met
On Friday, May 19th, CLA submitted a comment letter to EPA’s Water Law Office, regarding the terms of a settlement agreement in a suit that asserted that EPA has a mandatory duty under the Clean Water Act (CWA) to ensure that the goals of the Chesapeake Bay Agreement are met, and that EPA failed to perform that duty.
