CLA PRESENTS DURING ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE AND HEALTH DISPARITIES SYMPOSIUM

CLA’s workshop, “Legal Tools for Communities” is scheduled for December 7th at 3:15pm – 4:45pm.

The Symposium will be held on December 6-7, 2014, 9:00-AM to 4:00-PM; and will take place at the Adele H. Stamp Student Union Building, located at University of Maryland, College Park, MD.

The goal of this year’s symposium is to expand the discussion on the Chesapeake Bay to include environmental justice and health issues with a focus on vulnerable and at-risk populations who live in the region, and rely on the ecological goods and services of the Chesapeake Bay and rivers and streams in the watershed.
