While public support for the Chesapeake is overwhelming, the Bay is still severely stressed. The EPA and Bay states have launches an unprecedented cleanup effort but there is still a massive task ahead. In order to succeed, the government, industries, agriculture, developers, and communities will have to work together to clean up the Bay.
