“We are thankful to have CLA as a major resource for our policy and legal battles. CLA volunteer attorneys have helped us strengthen the conditions and enforceability of NPDES permits for industrial processing facilities throughout the Choptank, Miles, and Wye River watersheds. We collaborated with CLA to create a citizens’ guide to participating in the NPDES permit process. CLA is one of the best tools we have to fight for the protection of clean water in the Chesapeake Bay, and while the future of the political climate around the Bay is unknown, we’re ready to fight!”
