Permit Review & Comments

CLA assists citizens, community groups, local governments, and environmental advocates understand the permitting process and how one can become involved to protect one’s own rights, the rights of one’s community, or to speak out against known violations that are harming an environmental resource in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. CLA can also assist you, as an interested party, in making comments as part of a permit review process. Examples include the National Environmental Policy Act process, Clean Water Act permits for industrial or wastewater treatment facilities, or land use and zoning issues.
