Maeve Kessler, Law Clerk
Maeve is a second-year student at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law where she expects to graduate in 2025. Before attending law school, Maeve obtained a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland. During her time in Maryland, Maeve has had the opportunity to intern at the Harry R. Hughes Center for Agro-Ecology on the Eastern Shore, as well as the U.S. Department of Energy and the Maryland Office of the Attorney General.
As a student at the Carey School of Law, Maeve serves as the treasurer of the Maryland Environmental Law Society and works as a research assistant for Robert Percival. Outside of school, Maeve is a dedicated plant mom and enjoys going to farmers markets in the Baltimore City area.
During her time at CLA, Maeve hopes to learn more about the litigation process and the current legal work being done to protect the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. Additionally, Maeve is looking forward to the opportunity to work with other legal professionals in the environmental field.
