
Martin Siegel
Board Member since June 2016, Mr. Siegel is a member of Barley Snyder’s Real Estate and Environment & Energy practice groups. Formerly of Stock and Leader’s Environmental Law Group, he also served for 22 years as Assistant Counsel in the Southcentral Regional Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), where he was responsible for advising DEP programs that implemented environmental cleanups, sewage planning, water permitting and enforcement, radiation protection, and waste management. He has litigated numerous matters before the Environmental Hearing Board and has practiced extensively before the Commonwealth Court. He also served as a mediator for the Office of General Counsel’s Mediation Program. Prior to joining DEP, Mr. Siegel worked with a number of Federal agencies, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry in Atlanta, and the Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest Laboratory at the Hanford nuclear site in Washington State.
