Mary Stubblefield Clemmensen joined CLA in July 2016. Mary is responsible for pro bono legal services and developing clean water projects and legal strategies in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. Mary brings to CLA her previous litigation and regulatory experience with Superfund hazardous waste site cleanups, natural gas and power plant permitting, and endangered species and water quality issues. Previously, Mary was an Environmental Associate with CSC Government Solutions, LLC where she advised EPA on sites placed on the national priorities list for cleanup, and worked with Wilkes Artis, Chtd. (D.C.). She was also a Litigation Fellow with the Chesapeake Climate Action Network. Mary earned her law degree from Vermont Law school, where she was a Staff Editor and the Web Editor for the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law. She obtained her degree in Environmental Science from the University of Illinois-Champaign.
