
Téa Lorsch, Law Clerk
Téa is a rising 2L at the George Washington University Law School. At GW, Téa intends to focus her studies on environmental and energy law, and is an active member in the Environmental and Energy Law Association. She also has an interest in government procurement law and the intersection between governance and environmental issues.
Prior to starting law school, Téa graduated from the University of Maryland in May of 2022 with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy. At the University of Maryland, she focused her studies on water and climate issues, with relevant coursework in water policy, ocean policy, environmental law, and environmental justice. She also wrote her senior thesis on Stormwater Management and Housing Equity in the Town of Riverdale Park. Throughout her undergraduate degree, she also interned at a variety of institutions, including the US Department of Energy, the Maryland Clean Energy Center, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Téa is a Maryland native, growing up in both Baltimore and Montgomery County. In her free time, Téa loves to cook, take her dog, Beatrice, on long walks, and play with her roommate’s cat, Goose.
