CLA is partnering with Patagonia and the Indigenous Conservation Council (ICC), represented by Executive Director Melissa Ann Ehrenreich, for a powerful evening of film and conversation exploring the connections between environmental stewardship and Tribal sovereignty.
Guests will view Run to Be Visible and Tribal Waters, two Patagonia films spotlighting the critical role of Indigenous and Tribal communities in protecting our land and water—voices too often left out of environmental decision-making.
After the screenings, CLA will share how our legal work in the Chesapeake Bay region helps elevate Indigenous knowledge, defend Tribal sovereignty, and ensure historically excluded voices are heard in today’s environmental debates.
Doors Open: 6:30 p.m.
Social Meet and Greet: 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Film Starts: 7:15 p.m.
Panel Discussion with David Reed of CLA and Alice Volpitta of Blue Water Baltimore: 7:50 p.m. to 8:20 p.m.
Event Ends: 9:00 p.m.
