On Friday, May 19th, CLA submitted a comment letter to EPA’s Water Law Office regarding a proposed settlement agreement in a case asserting that the EPA has a mandatory duty under the Clean Water Act (CWA) to ensure the goals of the Chesapeake Bay Agreement are met, and that the agency failed to fulfill that duty.
