On October 26, CLA’s Executive Director David Reed and Staff Attorney Will Halnon hosted a webinar on the vital role of menhaden—an oily bait fish—in the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem and local economies. The discussion highlighted how mismanagement of the fishery by a Virginia agency is threatening menhaden populations, as well as the animals and communities that depend on them.
