
Patrick DeArmey, Staff Attorney
Patrick DeArmey is a Staff Attorney at the Chesapeake Legal Alliance. Patrick joined CLA in January 2020. At CLA Patrick predominately works on matters involving water quality and water resource protection and water permitting. He also represents clients in litigation and conducts pollution investigations and compliance sweeps. As a CLA staff attorney, he brings experience with the Clean Water Act, administrative law, and environmental permitting.
Prior to CLA, Patrick was an attorney with the Environmental Action Center for three years. In law school, Patrick interned at the EPA’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics and was a student attorney in the Delaware Law School’s Environmental Law Clinic.
Patrick holds a LL.M in Environmental Law from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, a J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School, and a B.A. from Towson University. He is admitted to practice law in Maryland.
Patrick is a member of the Delaware Valley Environmental Inn of Court. Patrick lives with his wife in Maryland.
