 “For over 40 years I have been sailing and kayaking on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. During the last 10 of them, as a member of the Chesapeake Legal Alliance’s board and part of its network of environmental lawyers, I have handled a variety of projects relating to the protection and restoration of the Bay and its watershed. This is exciting and rewarding stuff – putting the law to work to protect a national treasure – and I plan to keep at it as long as I can pick up a pen and raise my voice.”
